Learning outcomes

  • Design a sampling plan inside an accounts payable audit app and record why each tranche was selected.
  • Identify duplicate payment and split-invoice patterns before funds leave the ledger.
  • Assemble an evidence folder with screenshots, query logs, and follow-up owners.
  • Phrase control gaps so controllers and external reviewers share the same next step.

Who it suits

AP analysts, junior auditors, and finance business partners who already touch invoices and want a calmer audit rhythm. Prior ERP experience helps; deep coding knowledge is not required.

Learner notes

“Module 5 forced me to cut fluff from exception notes. Controllers now reply faster because the ask is obvious.”

“Solid on UK VAT cases. The practice app occasionally lagged during peak evening sessions, so I worked mornings instead.”

FAQ

Do I need access to a live ERP?

No. You work in a training instance of the accounts payable audit app with synthetic UK ledgers. Connecting a live system is optional after the course and outside our scope.

Is the fee refundable?

See our Refund Policy for eligibility windows and non-refundable items such as completed live sessions.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not cover forensic investigation of suspected fraud rings or litigation support. If you need that depth, you will still need a specialist firm after applying the fundamentals taught here.

How long do recordings stay available?

Cohort recordings remain available for two months after the final live session. Downloadable checklists stay yours indefinitely.
